Snow skiing

 Over my track out we decided to take a mini vacation and head up to Blowing Rock, NC.  Normally this time of the year we would try and spend it somewhere a little warmer, but since we were still getting snow in our mountains and the temps at home were cold we decided to take Holden for a late winter adventure.  We had an awesome time in the mountains...indoor swimming, eating, playing in our hotel room, and watching Holden learn how to ski.  We put him in ski school for the day at Appalachian ski resort.  He was the only kiddo in the lessons for the morning session and was with 1 other kid in the afternoon session.  Watching him the first half of the day was very emotional for me.  I could see his frustration from a distance and embrace his tears during his breaks.  We were on the fence on what to do about making him push through the afternoon.  Justin really wanted him to stick it out, so that is what we did.  I am glad he did because he really ended up loving it!
