Name

This post is long overdue, but I wanted to make sure I put it on here so I could remember it.
Back at the end of November we sat eating dinner like we normally do at the table and behind my seat is this painting....

Holden made it at preschool one of the first weeks he was there and of course proud/excited teacher/mamma HAD to put it up :)
Anyways so at dinner that night he out of the blue says...h, o, and some mumbling that sounded like d-e-n as he points to his painting. Both of us were really shocked because although we practice his letters and numbers with him we haven't focused a lot on his name and spelling it. I guess at his school that have !!
Since then we drill him on it all the time. Holden also refers to any letters he sees...in the bath, in books, ipad games, magnetic letters on the fridge as H-O. There is an letter recognition app that he goes to on the ipad and for the longest time the way he would ask for it was play H-O please. Also when we ask him on demand to spell his name he has the H-O down pat, the other letters are sometimes a mumble.
