This year's trick or treating excursion was a BLAST! Holden had a great time with his friends and was so funny once he figured out the whole concept! Our good friends hooked up a couple trailers with hay and festive lights and piled the kids on to go around our neighborhood trick or treating. We have done this the last 2 years, but this year it was a major hit and was nice for the kids to not have to walk....ok run to every house, but take a break and ride along. Holden did his fair share of running in several yards and the streets last night so after about an hour and a half of the craziness he was ready to call it a night.
He quickly picked up on the etiquette....asking ..."trick or treat" getting candy, saying "thank you" and then telling the person handing out candy bye "I got work to do!" We have no idea where he came up or heard this but it was absolutely the funniest thing...he literally told everyone handing out candy that! That one was def for the books.....or blog !! :)
